4th Class School Tour – Crag Cave

It was quite a journey to Crag Caves in County Kerry on a hot day -but it was well worth the trip! We had a busy day that started off with a guided tour down the cave – we saw stalagmites and stalactites! This was followed by Falconry flying display. We really enjoyed crazy cave and the playdium. Lunch is always more exciting in a new setting! All in all a great but exhausting day – many of us snoozed on the bus journey home.

5th Class School Tour – Oysterhaven

Oysterhaven is always a very active and exciting place for a school tour! We hope you enjoy our pictures almost as much as we enjoyed the day!

6th Class School Tour 2017 – Ballyhass Lakes

It looks like the 6th class girls had a fantastic time on their final school tour with Scoil Mhuire! Did we keep the best until last? Was Ballyhass Lakes the school tour of all school tours?

Senior Infants School Tour – Rumley’s Open Farm

Senior Infants had a great day at Rumley’s Open Farm. We saw lots of baby animals, some cows being milked, a huge and heavy ostrich egg, pigs, goats, donkeys and some buffalo but to name a few of the sights! We also got to enjoy the playground, crazy golf, the zip-wire, the go-karts and each class had a ride on the tractor. It was a busy day but we enjoyed every minute!

2nd Class chool Tour – Cork Adventure Day

Second class enjoyed a variety of activities on our “Cork Adventure Day”. Cork City Gaol and the lifetime lab were both very interesting. We had lunch at McDonalds and we got to do some bowling as well!

Junior Infant School Tour – Fota Wildlife Park

We had a fantastic day at Fota Wildlife Park in May! Our guide took us all around the park and we learned some very interesting things! Did you know for example, that an ostrich egg is so strong,  a junior infant could stand on it, and it would not shatter? Or, that a baby giraffe can stand up just hours after being born?

We walked a lot, had a picnic, and a ride on the Fota fun train.  We were also really excited to see our transport there and back was a double-decker bus!!
