Christmas Fair 2018

Last Thursday 6th of December marked the beginning of Christmas Celebrations in Scoil Mhuire with another wonderful Christmas Fair held in the school . This is organised every year by our wonderful Parents and Friends Association(P.F.A) and is always full of festive cheer. Open Night 2018

Last Wednesday, the 21st of November,  Scoil Mhuire celebrated its annual "Open Night" by opening its doors to the public to showcase all the amazing talents of our wonderful school and its pupils. Triple All-Ireland Champions Visit Scoil Mhuire.

Scoil Mhuire was thrilled to welcome past pupil Leah Weste, Cork Intermediate Camogie Player  along with   Hannah O' Leary and Orla Keating ,Cork Minor Camogie Players to show us not one, not two but three All-Ireland Final Winning Camogie Trophies for Cork at Senior, Intermediate and Minor levels. The Trip to the Toy Show Audition

The 22nd of October 2018  wasn’t the usual Monday morning at school for Scoil Mhuire 6th class girls who ventured to the Strand Hotel in Limerick for the ‘Late Late’ Toy Show auditions. We’re off to see Ryan Tubridy!

Best of luck to 36 of our six class Pupils who are off to the Late Late Toy Show audition on Monday in The Strand Hotel Limerick. The school received a phone call on Wednesday afternoon to invite the girls to audition to sing their action song Medley from Mary Poppins. “On the Banks of my own Lovely Lee”

Last Wednesday. October 10th, Rang a Sé ventured on a field trip along the course of the  River Lee. With Príomhoide Iníon Uí Mhurchú as tour guide, they stopped along various points including the Gearagh, Toon's Bridge, Inchigeelagh and Ballingeary to name but a few.
