ACTIVE SCHOOL FLAG

We are delighted to announce that our school has been awarded the ‘Active School’ Flag in recognition of our commitment to promoting physical activity and healthy lifestyles throughout the school community. This achievement reflects the enthusiasm and hard work of our pupils, staff, and families in taking part in a wide range of activities, including PE lessons, active breaks, playground games, sports events, and after-school activities. Earning the Active School Flag is a wonderful accomplishment for our school and highlights the importance of teamwork, participation, and staying active every day. We are very proud of everyone involved and look forward to continuing our active journey together. 

GREEN SCHOOL FLAGS

We are incredibly proud that our school has achieved our latest Green-Schools Flag for Global Citizenship – Litter & Waste, recognising the dedication and enthusiasm of our pupils, staff, and wider school community in promoting sustainability and environmental awareness. This theme encourages students to understand how caring for our environment can positively impact people and communities around the world, while also developing active citizenship and responsibility. Throughout the year, our school took part in a variety of initiatives including recycling, reducing waste, litter clean-ups, and learning about the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Achieving this flag reflects our commitment to creating a greener, more sustainable future and helping our students become informed and responsible global citizens.
