At our school, class tours are a much-loved highlight of the Summer term each year, giving children the opportunity to learn, explore and make wonderful memories with their classmates. From exciting trips for our infant classes to Leahy’s Open Farm and Fota Wildlife Park, to action-packed adventures for older classes at Just 4 Fun, Let’s Go, Smugglers Cove Adventure Centre, Oysterhaven Activity Centre and Ballyhass Lakes, there is something for everyone to enjoy. These outings encourage teamwork, confidence, independence and friendship, while also giving pupils the chance to experience new activities in a fun and safe environment. Of course, the excitement begins long before arriving at the destination – the laughter, singing and chats on the bus are all part of the adventure and create memories that last for years to come!
